imageStory: Eric Smith was lovingly adopted and welcomed into a Khmer family. When gang and drug ties to a local kingpin result in his mother’s murder, Eric falls deep into the criminal underbelly to find her killers. The life of easy money and fast women slowly corrode his moral compass and he begins to embrace the thug life. One man with a common past, Rithy Keo, who is searching for his brother’s murderers feels that their plights might be connected. He connives Eric into working for him and becoming his mole as Eric delves further into the abyss of the drug culture. Problems arise when information surfaces pegging Eric’s uncle, Bill Smith, as the possible gunman who shot Rithy’s brother. Loyalties are put under question and temperatures boil as the two men come face to face with each other in a climatic bloody showdown.
